What a Linux Control Panel Should Actually Do

A server can be perfectly capable and still feel difficult to run. The problem is rarely Linux itself. It is the collection of separate commands, config files, dashboards, and credentials that turns a simple website task into an afternoon. A linux control panel gives that work one clear home, so you can manage the server without treating every change like a production incident.

That does not mean a panel should hide everything or make decisions you cannot inspect. Good server management is still serious work. The right panel simply removes unnecessary friction from routine tasks: creating a website, adding SSL, setting up a database, reviewing resource use, or giving a client access to one account without handing them the keys to the whole server.
